Tai Chi & Qi Gong classes at the Ramsey Community School — Spring Semester

Registration is now open!

Classes begin February 24, 2025. These will be a block of 10 evening classes. Here are the descriptions:

Tai Chi & Qi Gong for health – Beginner class - 6:15 - 7:00 pm (2/24/25 - 5/5/25) Weekly Mondays

Tai Chi & Qi Gong are modalities of Traditional Chinese Medicine and are known for their powerful health benefits. The gentle, fluid movements strengthen the body, move energy, increase brain plasticity and improve balance. These practices are really effective in releasing stress and balancing the nervous system. This beginner class will introduce the ideas and techniques of these healing arts and how they can enhance our everyday life. No experience needed. Wear comfortable loose fitting clothes and supportive shoes. Bring to class:  water bottle.

The gentle, fluid movements strengthen the body, move energy, increase brain plasticity and improve balance. These practices are really effective in releasing stress and balancing the nervous system. This Level 2 class is for anyone who has completed at least one semester with me, this class will continue to explore and deepen our understanding of these powerful healing arts. Wear comfortable loose-fitting clothes and supportive shoes.  Bring to class:  water bottle.
